Omega U Cemetery Clean Up

Omega U students and over 80 community volunteers from various organizations and programs in Prince William County listen to John Steinbach, Chair of the Community Coordinator Committee & Executive Committee member of the PWC NAACP, give details and a history lesson on the Dumfries Slave Cemetery located in Dumfries Virginia on October 14, 2017.


The NAACP will continue the preservation efforts throughout the 2017 and 2018 year that will preserve and honor the African American slave ancestors with respect, dignity, and humanity.


Omega U had over 20 student volunteers and has completed over 15 hours of community service for the current 2017-2018 scholastic calendar year. The Omega U program teaches the importance to young men of the program on the significance of giving back and supporting local communities for the rest of their lives. The Omega U Program completes 50 hours of community service per school year.
